19th Parle Mahotsav

This Mahotsav taking the overall competition tally to 32. The 18th Parle Mahotsav had close to 65,000 participants which eventually led to giving away of over 2900 prizes. For the first time in the history of Parle Mahotsav, the finals of all the sporting events were held simultaneously in a specially built mega-stadium which had a spectator capacity of 30,000. The results were immediately updated on website.

This competition is mentored by Vinayak Shetye and Ashok Pitre. It is run in assiciation with Carom Association of Mumbai

Chess :

This competition is held in association with Maharastra Chess Assocition. It is judged by Prasad Deshmukh and Pritee Deshmukh. Prasad is instructor in FIDA & was former captain of Mumbai University. Pritee was also a former girl`s champion in Mumbai university. Nandan Pradhan and Sanjay Bhise are Incharge of this competition

Body Building : This competition is mentored by Rahul Shinde, Ashok Pitre. Rahul is instructor in gymansium.

Mallakhamb :

This competition is approved by Mumbai Subarban Mallakhamb Association & Maharashtra Amateur Mallakhamb Association. It is mentored by Esha Deorukhakar and Janhavi Jadhav.

Kho-Kho : This competition is held in association with Mumbai Suburban Kho-kho Association. It is mentored by Vrunda Gholam-Lad, Mangesh Surve, Vidya Sawant. Mangesh was a national level player in Kho Kho while Vrunda and vidya were state level players.

This competition is mentored by Shravan Kale and Adi Waigankar.

Slow Cycling :

This competition is mentored by Vaibhav Desai & Rahul Pawar.

Pickal Ball :

This competition is mentored by Sanjay Bhise and Manish Bohra.

Anjali Bhagwat :
National Gold Medalist, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna awarad winner and Arjun Award winner was a participant of Parle Mahotsav earlier in Rifle Shooting.
Komal Ullal :
Komal a past Winner of Painting Competition in Parle Mahotsav has won more than 650 prizes in painting. She has set a Limca Book of record for winning maximum no of prizes! She was awarded Bal Shree Puraskar by APJ Abdul Kalam in 2002. She was also awarded Sahyadri Hirkani Award in 2006. Komal now is in-charge of Painting Competitions at Parle Mahotsav.
Shyam Rahate :
Shyam was a Parle Mahotsav Title Winner in Body Building Competition. He then went on to become Mumbai Shree, Maharastra Shree and Bharat Shree.
Suhas Khamkar :
Suhas was a Parle Mahotsav Title Winner in Body Building Competition. He then went on to become Mumbai Shree, Maharastra Shree, Bharat Shree and Mr Asia.
Many Chhatrapati Award winners participate regularly in Mallakhamb competition of Parle Mahotsav. Few of these names are Mangesh Vaykul, Kunal Choksi, Neha Ghayal, Rajeshwari Pillai, Kalpesh Jadhav, Rajesh Rao, Rajesh Amrale, Ashish Deval, Anup Thakur.

winner of Parle Mahotsav Solo Dance Competition went on to become a winner of Marathi dance reality show, Eka Peksha Ek!

Winner of Solo Dance Competition and member of MB Rocks Group that participated in Parle Mahotsav, was also quarter finalist at India Got Talent. She was also quarter finalist in Kaboom on star plus. She is also winner of Boogie Woogie.

a participant in Volly ball Competition of Parle Mahotsav measures 7.2 feets high! He is a National level Vollyball player.
As many as 60 teams participated in Vollyball Competition last year. This is the highest no of teams that participated in any vollyball competition held across India.
